Never have I met such a sweet and friendly kid right off the bat. When we first met at Ballard a few years back, I was randomly approached by a petite Asian thing with long, black hair, wearing a hoodie much to big for her. She mentioned she saw me at Lazer Blaze and heard I was a nice person of sorts. So she gave me a hug, introduced herself, and immediately told me of a boy she had a crush on. What innocence, the youth. Later on, we enjoyed simple outings like videogames, bracelet-making, knitting, chain-smoking, and letter-writing. What a considerate girl. I am glad to have met her. Never have I ever felt so much like a mommy. >< Guffaw.

Happy birthday again to my precious darling, Lydia. She is of woman age now. Keep on keepin' on, kiddo.
